Established in the year 1999 Synergy achieved the rare distinction of Accreditation by NBA, New Delhi & NAAC(UGC),Govt. of India approved by AICTE and affiliated to BPUT. Synergy offers B.Tech Programmes in CSE & IT, ECE, Electrical, Mechanical & Civil and M.Tech programmes in CSE, ETC, Mechanical & Electrical Engg. Synergy Institute of Engineering & Technology, Dhenkanal, ORISSA. A long cherished dream of Shivani Educational and Charitable Trust, took shape in the year 1999. From a humble beginning of meagre 180 intake capacity in three branches, the Institute has come a long way in imparting professional education in the field of Engineering & Technology. The journey has not been smooth but, the Institute has steadily progressed and today it stands on its sprawling campus with 768 intake capacity in six disciplines & the total student strength in BTech & MTech is 2441. The college has got the approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Govt. of India. Earlier affiliated to the renowned Utkal University, Vanivihar, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, now it is affiliated to the Biju Pattnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Rourkela, Orissa – especially formed to focus solely on Technical Education & to improve quality. Synergy has the unique distinction of being the first Degree Engineering College in Eastern India to get ISO 9001 : 2000 Certification for its quality management system.Also accredited by Institute of Engineers India & National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi.

ACADEMIC PROGRAMME

At a well developed campus at Dhenkanal, Orissa (75 km away from State capital Bhubaneswar) with all necessary infrastructure the college started its degree program in Engineering in the academic session 1999-2000 with three branches viz. Computer Science & Engineering , Electronics & Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Subsequently three more programs are added with due approval of AICTE & Govt. of Orissa.
Presently, Synergy offers 4 years B.Tech. degree & 2 years M.Tech Master Degree courses in the following branches of engineering with affiliation from Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Orissa. for annual intake as mentioned against each discipline.

RULES FOR ADMISSION INTO 1st YEAR B.TECH

75% of the seats will be filled by Odisha JEE

15% of the seats will be filled up by AIEEE counselling centrally.

15% seats will be for NRI candidates to be filled up by the institute.*

Eligibility:

Passed in 10+2 with Math,Physics & Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science.
Qualified in AIEEE or OJEE
Importance will be given to students securing 50% & more marks in 10+2 exams.
