MOTHER’S PUBLIC SCHOOL ,BBSR

Mother’s Public School was established in 1991 as ‘Prakrit’. It was the dream project of Mrs. Poly, the founder and mentor of the school. Being the first day-boarding school in Bhubaneswar, it became popular among the working mothers as it not only solved their problems but also reduced their tension. They no longer had to worry about the well-being of their children while they were at work.

The school started with 20 students with classes from Pre-Nursery to IV- teachers and non teaching staff in a lush green surrounding. The classes were held in small huts which reminded one of the Gurukul days. The school provided breakfast, lunch and snacks besides facilities for a comfortable nap in the afternoons.

As far as academics is concerned the school believed in the holistic development of the child and catered to his/her curricular, extracurricular and co-curricular needs. Tradition too was given importance and festivals like Raksha Bandhan, Diwali, Christmas, Saraswati Puja and Ganesh Puja were celebrated in the school to inculcate traditional values in a child.

Gradually the school progressed and in 1994,it became Mother’s School of Integral Education. Now it had its own building in the heart of the city. From here the school grew in leaps and bounds and today is popular as Mother’s Public School. It boasts of providing education to nearly 2000 students up to the +2 level in the Science and Commerce streams. In tune with the continuous and comprehensive evaluation(CCE) set by the CBSE, this institution endeavors to provide curriculum based learning .It has a good infrastructure, state of art classrooms, experienced and committed faculty members.Conceptual values of being a home away from home is retained by the school. Needs of the working mothers are catered to.Students are provided with quality education and valuable skills to march forward and face the challenges of the adult world.

With each passing year the school moves ahead adding laurels to its name. Presently the school provides integrated coaching facilities for medical and engineering students.law and CPT classes are in the pipeline. In association with Mother’s Business School, which operates from the school campus and is affiliated to Utkal University, we offer the BBA program as well.

There are many variations of passages of Lorem Ipsum available, but the majority have suffered alteration in some form, by injected humour, or randomised words which don’t look even slightly believable. If you are going to use a passage of Lorem Ipsum, you need to be sure there isn’t anything embarrassing hidden in the middle of text. All the Lorem Ipsum generators on the Internet tend to repeat predefined chunks as necessary, making this the first true generator on the Internet anything embarrassing hidden in the middle many web sites.

ODM Public School

In the year 1989, 10 students entered into a small dingy room which was supposedly their school and this was the first step towards a big dream visualized by a visionary educationist Dr. Satyabrata Minaketan, the Founder-Chairman of ODM educational group. With numerous degrees into his pocket and myriad career options before him, this man chose an unsteady and thorny path of establishing a school which would be a school with a difference and serve the mankind with real knowledge. That small room with 10 students was the beginning of what you see today as ODM Public School.

With no external support and no godfather, the school rose to heights and crossed several milestones year after year. A secondary school was set-up for Socio-Economic Backward children in 1992 followed by the school’s secondary branch in 1996. It then moved into a small campus with 350 children. Soon the quality of education, individual attention to students saw the numbers rise each year. It was only in 2005, the school took a giant leap by opening the Senior Secondary branch which saw the enrollment of 35 students in its first year. Following that, ODM became the first +2 CBSE residential school in Odisha, when it first introduced residential facilities for Senior Secondary Science students. The School has witnessed its evolution from a small building to a sprawling campus spread on 4 acres of land with 5 main blocks, from 10 students to a whooping 3500, from 2 teaching faculties to a fleet of 300+ staff. In years to come, it will definitely target the pinnacle of success by imparting qualitative education to inspire and change lives.

A Glance Of Odisha

Bhubaneswar, the temple city of India, has its own heritage. It is more than 2600 years old. The modern city came into existence in 1948 as the new capital of Odisha. It was designed by a German architect Otto. H. Koeingsberges.

The capital city is getting a facelift. The industrial projects worth more than Rs. 1.5 lakh crore is in the pipeline.

Presently, the city’s population has already crossed 20 lakhs and it is growing by leaps and bounds.

State Government’s top priority, today is to improve infrastructure to lure to more investors. This will remove congestion of traffic to institutional areas and bring relief to the information technology companies situated in the Infocity. T

he State capital authorities are giving top priority to widen and improve the 493km main road network. Odisha, as a state, is taking giant strides on the road to progress and prosperity shading its image of impoverished state ravaged by poverty and poor masses. It is priming for a great economic leap forward with several industries set to go on stream in the next few months. At the top is the POSCO agreement, which at $54 billion stands as India’s biggest FDI.

Number of commitments and memos pledging more than 150,000 crores to the state, nearly 20 will go on production mode by 2006. Nearly half a dozen proposals in steel sector is waiting for a final nod, opening new bays of employment and boost in service Industry.

Odisha is also endowed with a colossal quantum of mineral wealth. The state boasts of 26 % of India’s iron ore reserves and 90 % and 70 % respectively of country’s chrome and bauxite deposits.

With this the State has vast area of thick forest cover, stretching along side of 480 km long virgin sea beach adding to its natural beauty with Flora and Fauna.

Such natural riches are waiting just for their transformation to the benefit of majority of people of the state. In short, there is plenty of opportunity for growth and development in the entire sphere of business including manufacturing and service sectors, like transport, travel, tourism, housing, technical, information technology etc.
