Submit an application to study at RMIT.
Receive an offer to study at RMIT in 2 Semester 2016.
Submit an application form for this scholarship.

Open date: Applications now open for Semester 2 2016.
Closing date: 31 May 2016.

Terms and conditions

The scholarship will be paid at AU$10,000 (one off payment). The AU$10,000 will be deducted from your first semester’s tuition fees.
The scholarship will only be paid once.
This scholarship cannot be deferred to another year and must be taken up in Semester 2 2016.
Applicants with a conditional offer will need to meet the conditions of their offer before they can accept the scholarship offer.

Scholarships are only available for the following postgraduate programs:
Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Master of Business Administration (MBA) (Executive)
Master of Business Information Technology
Master of Supply Chain and Logistics Management
Scholarship selection is based on academic merit. The scholarships are competitive, with academic achievement forming the basis for scholarship selection.
Applications will be considered and scholarships offered on a rolling basis until all scholarships have been awarded.
Successful applicants will be notified within 4 weeks of lodging the scholarship application; unsuccessful applicants will not be contacted.
RMIT International may profile scholarship recipients.

Transform Together Scholarship

Transform Together Scholarships

Transform Together Scholarships are exclusively for international and European Union (non-UK) students starting a full-time taught course in 2016/17. A half fee waiver (50% discount) is available for postgraduate courses and for each year of an undergraduate degree.

Scholarships are awarded to the highest achieving students who can demonstrate not only excellent academic achievement but also ambition, determination and dedication. They are not based purely on economic need. On your application form, you need to tell us about:

  • significant things you have done to date which make you stand out from the crowd. This could include professional
  • qualifications, benefits you have brought to your community and non-academic achievements.
  • your skills, talents and special interests that demonstrate your ability and ambition
  • your personal outlook, vision and passion that will help you to successfully deliver your future plans.
  • how you would represent the University as an ambassador
  • If you are applying for a postgraduate scholarship you must have achieved the equivalent of a 2:1 in your undergraduate degree.

Apply for a course at Sheffield Hallam. If you have not applied for a course, please visit our online prospectus

When you have received an offer from Sheffield Hallam, download the scholarship application form
Complete and return the scholarship application form with transcripts to scholarships@shu.ac.uk by

31 May 2016 for September 2016 start

1 November 2016 for January 2017 start

A panel will review the scholarship applications

You will be notified if you have been successful approximately one month after the deadline. All decisions are at the University’s discretion and are final.

What happens if I am successful?

Your CAS statement will be updated to reflect your scholarship award. After enrolment, you will be invited to a scholarship ceremony to celebrate your achievement. You will also be expected to represent Sheffield Hallam University through various activities during the academic year and after graduation.

What happens if I am not successful?

You could be eligible for an automatic discount of at least £1,000. Find out more.

Who can apply?
To be eligible to apply for one of these scholarships you must:

be an international or a European Union (non-UK) fee paying student
postgraduate only – have achieved a minimum 2.1 or equivalent in your honours degree and must meet the English and academic entry requirements for your course. Please attach your transcripts to your scholarship application
undergraduate only – have achieved or exceeded the English and academic entry requirements for the course
have an offer for a full-time taught undergraduate or postgraduate course at Sheffield Hallam University. If you have not applied for a course, please visit our online prospectus
be self-funding your studies
be able to pay any additional fees your course may require, for example field trips
You are not eligible to apply if you are studying a Sheffield Hallam course at a partner institution, or have an offer for our Graduate Diploma Business and English (pre-masters course) or International Foundation Programme in art, design and media or business, law and social sciences. You can apply for a scholarship for the course that you will progress onto following successful completion of the preparation programme.

Kapila Hingorani Postgraduate Scholarship

The Kapila Hingorani Postgraduate Scholarship is exclusively for India domiciled students who will study LLM/MA Advanced Human Rights in September 2016.

What is the Kapila Hingorani Postgraduate scholarship?

The Department of Law and Criminology at Sheffield Hallam University is offering a full fee scholarship for LLM/MA Advanced Human Rights to students domiciled in India.

Who was Kapila Hingorani?

Kapila Hingorani was a prominent Indian human rights lawyer. She is well-known in India as the leading advocate in the pro-bono fight for the underprivileged. Her daughter, Priya, is the vice president of the Supreme Court Bar Association in India and has conducted public interest cases on behalf of disadvantaged sections of society and on socio-legal issues. Priya contacted Sheffield Hallam about launching a scholarship in memory of Kapila. The Department of Law and Criminology agreed to launch the Kapila Hingorani Postgraduate Scholarships.

International Scholarships for Advanced Standing Students

About the award:  The scholarship covers 50% of the tuition fee for the duration of a standard undergraduate program.
The scholarships are available for international students who have completed post secondary studies and are
eligible for credit articulation.

Charpak Masters Scholarships for Indian Students

This scholarship is designed for one to two years of studies in France at the Master’s degree level.

Please note that no reason will be given for rejection of an application. The French Embassy is not obliged to respond to candidates whose applications are incomplete. Incomplete applications will not be taken into consideration.
Applicant must:

  • be an Indian national and reside in India.
  • be a student currently enrolled at an Indian Institution of higher learning or a young professional employed in a company for a maximum of 3 years at the time of application
  • be 30 years old maximum
  • the course must take place in France. If you have one semester or more of studies in another country, the scholarship will not be provided during that period.
  • An exception will be made for Charpak scholarship holders who are currently completing their M1 in France. They may reapply for a second year of funding in order to complete their M2. There is no automatic renewal of the scholarship at the M2 level. Acceptance will be subject to academic performance at the M1 level and a new statement of purpose.
  • Non-scholarship holders currently pursuing M1 in France are not eligible for the scholarship.

Selection Procedure: Your application will be selected on the basis of your academic excellence, as well as the consistency and quality of your statement of purpose. There is no CGPA / percentage cut-off for the scholarship. Knowledge of French will be an asset but is not mandatory. A tie-up between your current Indian institution and your future French institution will also be an asset.

Step 1: Download

Step 2: Complete

Read the application form carefully and fill each section of the Word format document by using Arial, font size 10. Do not alter the format of the application form.

Your statement of purpose should explain why you chose the French institution to which you have applied or have been admitted, as well as your future plans upon completion of the course. Explain why you would be a worthy candidate for the scholarship. Mention how you initially came to know about the Charpak program. Your statement of purpose should be one page long (maximum length). Important – ensure that your statement of purpose is original.

Step 3: Submit

Send the following documents to scholarship.france@gmail.com :

application form duly filled, signed, printed and scanned
scanned copy of the first page of your passport (with photo and expiry date). If you will be getting your passport after the deadline, please attach passport application proof.
your full Curriculum Vitae (maximum 2 pages)
Scanned copy of your admission/acceptance letter from the French higher education institution. If you have not received it before the deadline, attach an email correspondence to show that you are in the process of getting the acceptance letter from them.
Attested (by a gazette officer or the Head of the institute where you studied/are studying) scanned copies of mark sheets of Higher Secondary School (XII), Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees (including those of completed semesters of the ongoing degree)
French language certificate if any (from Alliance Française in India or any recognised university or Xth marks card if French was your second language)
The subject of your message to scholarship.france@gmail.com should mention the type of program you are applying to i.e. Masters. Photos of documents instead of clear scans will not be accepted.

NDTV Deakin University Scholarships 2016

NDTV Deakin Scholarships 2016

Out of the four scholarships being offered as part of the NDTV-Deakin Scholarship program, one Postgraduate degree with 100% tuition fee waiver has been awarded to a deserving candidate in the first phase. In the second phase, applications for scholarships for two UG and one PG studies onshore at Deakin University are now open.

About the NDTV-Deakin Scholarship Program

NDTV has been a pioneer in the Indian TV journalism space and has often leveraged the power of its reach to bring about positive changes in society and to solve real world problems through dedicated and innovative programing.

Deakin, one of Australia’s most progressive University, has initiated a campaign called “Changing 100 Lives” which aims to enable students to access, participate and achieve a higher education regardless of their location, socio-economic status or family situation.

The NDTV Deakin Scholarship program is now entering into its second year. The inaugural edition of the scholarship in 2015 received over 400 applications for the 100% tuition fee scholarship that was on offer. The winner of the inaugural scholarship is now studying Bachelor of Communication (Journalism) at Deakin University. The selection process was telecasted in a series of two episodes on NDTV Prime.

As natural partners towards a common cause, of “Changing Lives”, the NDTV Deakin Scholarship Program was launched in April 2015 to offer one 100% tuition fee scholarship to a deserving candidate for enrolment for onshore studies at Deakin University in Australia.

2016 promises to be bigger and better. As part of NDTV Deakin Scholarship 2016, we will be offering four 100% tuition fee scholarships to meritorious applicants from India.
