The applications for SHDF scholarships are being invited by Sikh Human Development Foundation, U.S.A (SHDF) and Nishkam Sikh Welfare Council New Delhi. All the regular students studying in recognized Colleges and Universities for Professional Degree /Diploma Courses like Engineering, IT, Computer Science, Medical, Nursing, Home Science,Architecture, Agriculture, Business Management, B.Ed., Journalism, CA etc. are invited to submit their application for aforesaid scholarships.

Benefits Provided :
The selected candidates will be awarded with scholarship amount up to Rs. . 27,000 per year per student plus (+) Incentives up to Rs. 3,000 to all the Toppers / Position Holders.
Eligibility Criteria :
=>> The student should obtained at least 60 per cent marks in the previous two examination.
=>> The students total family income should not exceed Rs. 1,50,000 (One lac fifty thousand) per annum from all sources.
=>> The students who have appeared in Class 12 examination in March, 2016 are also eligible to apply.

(@).Duly filled in application form alongwith the other supporting documents should be reached to the below mentoned address on or before the due date through speed/registered post or courier.
(@).Fill the application form and sent it along with the attested copies of all the certificate and receipt of fees and other documents.
(@).Must mention ‘SHDF Scholarship 2016’ on the top of the envelope which contain application form.

{~} Self attested copies of Mark sheets of Class 10 and class 12 examination and later exam., if any
{~} Three coloured passport size photographs (two pasted on the appropriate space in the application and one with your name on the back in an envelope.
{~} Attested copies of examination passed during April, 2015 to March, 2016 of professional courses attested by Gazetted office.

Written Test :
=> Eligible students will be required to take a Written Test one in Punjabi and the other in Moral Science.
=> The examination will be held furing August or September, 2016.
=> The examination will be held at any of the seven centers, ie. New Delhi, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Faridkot, Moga, Bathinda and Amritsar.
=> The class 12th students who have appeared in the exam in March, 2016 can take the written test and interview, but their selection depends on getting the admission for a professional course in renowned institute and if found eligible, otherwise.
=> The Roll No. for written test will be assigned to the shortlisted candidates by Nishkam.
=> The book for written test ‘ Naitik Sikhya’ by Literature Publication Department, Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle, Ludhiana is prescribed for the students.

** In case of change in postal address or email ID or Phone no., inform immediately.
** The written test will be followed by interview.
** You must bring the Admit Card and ID proof at the of test and interview.
